Not your piece of cake |

Bangla Version

Dear Prof. Yunus: I am an expatriat professional working in United Arab Emirates. I had sent a copy of your open letter to all my Bangladeshi friends and colleagues through email. We, the NRBs in UAE, have already made the survey in SMS. Everybody has opined against your joining politics or floating a new political party. Dear Sir, you are above politics. You do not only belong to Chittagong, Bangladesh; you represent Asia and the whole 3rd world. No doubt you have put Bangladesh in the world map and we are SO proud of you. We see you to be up in the sky. We don't want you to take a free fall from there. That's what joining politics can do to you. Politics is a different ball game and we think it is not your piece of cake. Why do you want to get into this controversy in the first place? You can make the difference by just showing your index finger toward the path of properity. We all support your social services like low cost nutritious food for the poor, pure drinking water for the poor, healthcare for all, and micro technical education for the expatriate workers. You can also form watch dogs to oversee the corruption, which is rampant in Bangladesh, from grass root level up to burearcrats. You can do all these things by staying outside and above politics. Do not get personally involved in this nasty game. Thank you.
