Dear Prof. Yunus: I salute you for what you have gained for us with your sincere and hard work. Your name and fame with Nobel Peace prize brings Bangladesh in the world with honour. That is a great achievement for you and for all Bangladeshis. We are proud of you. Please, please do not join Politics. You will ruin what you have gained. Politics is not for everybody, politics is for politicians and you are not one of them. One does not become a politician over night, it starts from boyhood. You never did politics in your student life or later in your work life. If you want to contribute to Bangladeshi politics, do it by giving suggestions time to time, that will help. But not your active involvement. If you want to do politics by the backing of Army or some foreign nations, then it is a different story altogether. Go ahead by all means! Nobody will probably be able to stop you. Please remember everyone has to have accountability. Even the present government has to face the politicians in the future parliament. I am not against the present government but I am concerned about their credibility. If you think carefully, who has given them authority or mandate to do all these good work? We the people have not done that explicitly. May be Army with the green signal of foreign interest. Who knows? In Bangladesh, all politicians are not bad. Like all other professions, bad elements are there, may be the ratio of bad elements is higher in politics than other professions. Finally I will urge you again. Please do not joing politics. You will ruin yourself.
