SANTA ANA, California (AP) - The mother of Nicole Brown Simpson has agreed to allow O.J. Simpson to move to Florida with his children.

Simpson is expected to move later this month with Sydney, 14, and Justin, 12, who have spent two months with the Browns this summer. The children of Simpson and his slain ex-wife urged their grandmother to let them go with him, said Jonathan Burrington, a spokesman for the Browns.

"The children said to their grandmother, 'I want to be with my father," Burrington said. "It signals a truce for the time being. The Browns are going to allow the children to go to Florida and play it by ear."

Simpson, 53, has said he believes the move will represent a new start for him and his family.

Simpson was acquitted of murder in a criminal trial but was found liable in a subsequent civil trial for the 1994 deaths of his ex-wife and Ronald Goldman. He was ordered to pay the victims' families dlrs 33.5 million.

ROME (AP) - British Prime Minister Tony Blair has returned to Italy for another Tuscan holiday, this year with a larger family.

The politician lugged the newest Blair, Leo, in a baby carrier, as the family arrived at Florence airport Saturday to head out to a villa near San Gimignano.

A few days earlier, the prime minister agreed to line up his family to be photographed sometime in the first days of the stay, backing down from a "no cameras" policy declared after photographs were published of his baby's baptism despite his appeal for photographers to stay away from the ceremony.

Last year, the Blairs also spent some of their summer holiday in Tuscany.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Helen Hunt and Hank Azaria have split.

The Oscar- and Emmy-winning actress separated from her husband several months ago, said publicist Steven Huvane.

The two married on July 17, 1999. They had been together since 1994.

Hunt won 1998's best actress Oscar for "As Good As It Gets" and multiple Emmys for her comedic lead character in "Mad About You." Azaria's movie credits include "Godzilla" and "The Birdcage."

A message left for Huvane after business hours Friday was not returned. He told "Entertainment Tonight" the separation was mutual.

"They remain good friends," Azaria's publicist, Stan Rosenfield, told the show.

Azaria also had a recurring role on "Mad About You" as Nate the dog walker and is well known to fans of the animated TV series "The Simpsons" as the voice of a number of characters.

Hunt is slated to star opposite Tom Hanks in the upcoming movie "Castaway" and opposite Mel Gibson in "What Women Want."

HACKENSACK, New Jersey (AP) - Marvin Isley has settled a lawsuit against his singing siblings stemming from a dispute over recent financial windfalls.

His attorney, Paul Feldman, said Isley accepted dlrs 250,000 to end the suit with his three brothers over how much he should have received from the estate of his late brother, O'Kelly Isley.

Marvin contended he was due a quarter of O'Kelly's estate. But Ronald and Rudolph Isley said Marvin and Ernie Isley signed away their rights to Isley-related properties in 1991.

As part of the settlement reached last week, Marvin will receive a 25 percent interest in O'Kelly's estate and the royalty payments expected to go with it.

The soul-singing Isley Brothers, whose hits include "Twist And Shout" and "Who's That Lady?" have lately come into substantial money.

In May, a judge upheld a dlrs 7 million plagiarism award against Michael Bolton, agreeing he had stolen the group's 1966 song "Love Is A Wonderful Thing." In June, investors reportedly paid the group between dlrs 20 million to dlrs 30 million for bonds backed by future royalties.

MINNEAPOLIS - Arnold Schwarzenegger teamed up with his former "Predator" co-star-turned-politican to raise awareness of the plight of military veterans.

"The veterans are not getting a fair shake," Schwarzenegger said on Gov. Jesse Ventura's live radio show Friday. "The way the government is taking care of them is disastrous."

Schwarzenegger has been friends with Ventura since they made the movie in 1986. He was joined on the show by wife Maria Shriver and Miss America Heather French, who has spoken out about veterans issues.

In his native Austria, Schwarzenegger was a tank driver in the military.

"Here, I was going to say you were the tank," quipped Ventura, a former Navy SEAL.

SAN DIEGO (AP) - The nearly two years Susan McDougal spent in jail has given her a new mission - advocating prisoners' rights.

McDougal, 45, was jailed for 18 months for refusing to cooperate with the independent counsel's investigation of President Clinton.

While locked up, McDougal said she sometimes slept in a cell with as many as 30 other women and drank warm water from a toilet tank during stifling heat waves.

McDougal says she hopes her message will bring about change in the criminal justice system and implore her audience to vote for politicians who won't ignore the problem.

She told her story Friday to a gathering of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Despite the conditions, she said she has no regrets.

"I would not trade one day. It has changed my life," McDougal said.
