Dhaka (UNB) – Trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange closed lower yesterday as the losers outnumbered the gainers.
All Share Price Index at the country’s main bourse shed 2.93 points or 0.52 percent to close at 560.27 points from Tuesday’s 563.20 points.
Of the 180 listed securities traded yesterday, 62 advanced, 95 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
Some 3,128,778 shares and debentures valued at Tk 13.93 crore changed hands as against 4,348,046 shares worth Tk 18.41 crore on the previous trading day.
AIMs First Mutual Fund (762,500), Beximco Pharma (434,550),Quasem Drycell (398,600), Rangpur Foundry (168,000) and Shine Pukur (115,050) were among the day’s volume leaders.
Market capitalization stood at Tk 53.04 billion as against Tuesday’s Tk 53.32 billion.
