Dhaka-- (UNB) – The main index at Dhaka Stock Exchange marked a slight fall yesterday (Sunday) with the losers outnumbering the gainers.

The DSE all Share Price Index dropped 0.83 points or 0.13 percent to close at 632.62 points from Wednesday’s 633.45 points.

The DSE-20 index also dropped by 0.87 points or 0.06 percent to close at 1246.46 points from 1247.33 points on Wednesday.

Of the 150 listed securities traded yesterday, 90 declined, 48 advanced and 12 remain unchanged.

Some 1,477, 635 shares and debentures valued at Tk 9.32 crore were traded yesterday as against 1,804,640 shares worth Tk 10.89 crore on the previous trading day (Jan 31).

Aims First Guaranteed (267,500), Quashem Drycell (194,300), Sinobangla (124,500) and Bexi pharma (62,600) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 60.30 billion from Tk 60.38 billion on Wednesday.
