Dhaka--(UNB) - Ranabhola area of Harirampur union under Uttara thana has come under natural gas supply network.

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Prof Rafiqul Islam formally commissioned the 86-km gas supply line in the union today.

Under the first phase of the Uttara Extension Pipeline Construction Project, the 86-km distribution line was built at a cost of about Tk 7.30 crore.

Local MP Kamal Ahmed Majumder, Managing Director of Titas Gas Company Engineer Delwar Bakht, Vice-president of City Awami League MA Awal Siddiqui, among others, were present during the function.
