Chittagong-- (UNB) – The two indexes at Chittagong Stock Exchange nose-dived again yesterday with the losers strongly dominating the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index shed 3.15 points or 0.22 percent to close at 1398.49 points from Sunday’s 1401.64 points.

The selective index also lost 2.74 points or 0.19 percent to close at 1427.86 points from Saturday’s 1430.60 points.

Of the listed 58 securities traded yesterday, 15 gained, 32 declined and 11 remained unchanged.

Some 678,497 shares and debentures valued at Tk 2.43 crore were transacted as against 396,235 shares worth Tk 2.78 crore on the previous trading day.

Chictex Limited (80,500), National Credit (32,950), Aims First Guaranteed (2,95,000) and M Hossain Garments (92,700) were among the volume leader.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 57.33 billion from 57.45 billion on Sunday.
