Chittagong-- (UNB) – The two indexes at Chittagong Stock Exchange declined yesterday (Saturday) as the losers outnumbered the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index shed 7.92 points or 0.56 percent to close at 1407.04 points from Thursday’s 1414.97 points.

The CSE Selective Index also decreased by 8.31 points or 0.57 percent to close at 1438.97 points from Thursday’s 1447.28 points.

Of the listed 60 securities traded yesterday, 12 gained, 33 declined and 15 remained unchanged.

Some 407,347 shares and debentures valued at Tk 2.86 crore were transacted as against 490,742 shares worth Tk 2.44 crore on the previous trading day.

Sajib Knitwear (74,800), National Credit (52,750), Sinobangla Industries (36,500), Chictex Limited (29,500) and Aims First Guaranteed (27,500) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 57.65 billion from 57.94 billion on Thursday.
