Dhaka-- (UNB) – Bangladesh will receive 75.25 million Danish Kroner equivalent to Tk 51.95 crore (approx) as grant for three projects from Denmark.

The projects are: Arsenic Mitigation, Capacity Building of the Judicial Administration Training Institute and Support to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha.

An agreement to this effect was singed between Bangladesh and Denmark here yesterday. ERD Secretary Dr Masihur Rahman and Ambassador of Royal Danish Embassy Finn Thilsted signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.

Of the amount, Tk 42 crore will be utilized for the Project “Arsenic Mitigation”, Tk 9.20 crore for “Capacity building of the Judicial Administration Training Institute of Bangladesh and around Tk 75 lakh for the project “Support to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS)”.
