Chittagong-- (UNB) – The main index at Chittagong Stock Exchange ended lower yesterday as the losers outnumbered the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index shed 1.85 points or 0.13 percent to close at 1415.72 points from Tuesday’s 1417.57 points.

Of the listed 58 securities traded yesterday, 16 gained, 27 declined and 15 remained unchanged.

Some 447,760 shares and debentures valued at Tk 3.41 crore were transacted as against 319,265 shares worth Tk 1.88 crore on the previous trading day.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 57.97 billion from Tk 58.21 billion Tuesday.
