Chittagong-- (UNB) – The main index of Chittagong Stock Exchange marked fall yesterday (Sunday) as the losers outnumbered the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index declined by 3.79 points or 0.27 percent to close at 1382.56 points from Thursday’s 1386.35 points.

Of the 44 listed securities traded yesterday, nine gained, 25 declined and 10 remained unchanged.

Some 195,957 shares and debentures valued at Tk 1.33 crore were transacted as against 778,300 shares worth Tk 6.10 crore on the previous trading day.

AIMS First Guaranteed (40,000), Chictex Ltd (27,000), Quasem Drycells Ltd (23,950) and Niloy Cement (18,100) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 56.69 billion from Tk 56.83 billion on Thursday.
