Dhaka-- (UNB)– Trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange closed higher yesterday (Sunday) posting a slight rise in its benchmark index.

The DSE All Share Price Index rose by 1.79 points or 0.28 percent to close at 629.32 points yesterday from Thursday’s 627.53 points.

Of the 137 listed securities traded yesterday, 62 gained, 60 declined and 15 remained unchanged.

Some 684,299 shares and debentures valued at Tk 6.77 crore were transacted yesterday as against 884,952 shares worth of Tk 9.83 crore on the previous trading day.

Beximco Pharma (65,250), AIMS First Guaranteed (55,000), ACI (34,100) and Bionic Food (20,000) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 59.98 billion from Tk 59.81 billion on Thursday.
