Dhaka-- (UNB) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sanctioned Tk 2,06 crore from her Relief and Welfare Fund for the country’s distressed people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Five persons from each ward of every union, pourashava and city corporation will be given Tk 100 each, according to a handout.

It said the authorities concerned have been asked to distribute the money by December 20 so that the poor people can celebrate the Eid.
