Chittagong-- (UNB) – Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange finished higher yesterday (Tuesday) posting 3.08 points rise in its benchmark.

The CSE All Share Price Index gained 3.08 points or 0.22 percent to close at 1377.78 points from Monday’s 1374.70 points.

Of the 42 listed securities traded yesterday, 25 gained, 11 declined and six remained unchanged.

Some 233,990 shares and debentures valued at Tk 1.78 crore were transacted yesterday as against 228,715 shares worth Tk 2.43 crore on the previous trading day.

AIMS First Guaranteed (85,000), Niloy Cement Industry (33,300), Quasem Drycells (26,300) and Beximco Pharmaceutical (23,000) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 56.52 billion from Tk 56.41 billion on Monday.
