Chittagong-- (UNB) – Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange finished lower yesterday (Tuesday) posting 8.55 points fall in its benchmark.

The CSE All Share Price Index lost 8.55 points or 0.62 percent to close at 1366.82 points from Monday’s 1375.37 points.

Of the 50 listed securities traded yesterday, 13 gained, 33 declined and four remained unchanged.

Some 230,280 shares and debentures valued at Tk 1.44 crore were transacted yesterday as against 205,717 shares worth Tk 2.32 crore on the previous trading day.

Niloy Cement Industry (49,250), Chic Tex Ltd (44,000) and Paragon leather (29,650) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 56.13 billion from Tk 56.44 billions on Monday.
