CSE nose-dived for third consecutive day |

Chittagong--(UNB) – The main index at Chittagong Stock Exchange nose-dived for the third consecutive days yesterday as the losers outnumbered the gainers. The CSE All Share Price Index dropped by 3.28 points or o.23 percent to close at 1423.62 points from Wednesday’s 1426.90 points. Of the 66 listed securities traded yesterday, 20 gained, 37 declined and nine remained unchanged. Some 954,687 shares and debentures valued at Tk 4.05 crore changed hands as against 564,905 shares worth Tk 5.27 crore on the previous trading day. AIMS First Mutual Fund (315,000), Legacy Footwear (247,500) and Meghna Shrimp (66,100) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 53.87 billion from Tk 53.98 billion on Wednesday. |
