Dhaka--(UNB) – The price index at Dhaka Stock Exchange finished lower yesterday (Thursday) with the losers heavily dominating the gainers. The DSE All Share Price Index rose by 2.96 points or 0.45 per cent to close at 644.20 points from Wednesday’s 647.16 points. Of the 149 listed securities traded yesterday, 90 declined, 41 advanced and 18 remained unchanged. Some 2,504,448 shares and debentures valued at TK 16.391 crore were transacted on the day. Legacy Foot (493,500), AIMS First Mutual Fund (217,500), BD Wielding (92,500), Beximco Pharma (88,650) and Chic Textile (65,500) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 61.14 billion from Tk 61.42 billion on Wednesday. |
