Chittagong (UNB) – Week’s trading at the Chittagong Stock Exchange finished lower today (Saturday) posting a slight fall in its benchmark index.

The CSE All Share Price Index shed 0.79 points or 0.05 percent to close at 1422.26 points from Thursday’s 1423.05 points.

Of the listed 57 securities traded today, 26 gained, 25 declined and six remained unchanged.

Some 958,400 shares and debentures valued at Tk 5.10 crore were transacted as against 246,395 shares worth at Tk 1.65 crore on the previous day.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 53.81 billion from Thursday’s Tk 53.84 billion.
