Dhaka (UNB) – As the losers dominated the gainers, the price index at Dhaka Stock Exchange marked a slight fall today (Saturday).

The DSE all Share Price Index lost 0.16 points or 0.02 percent to close at 649.73 points from Thursday’s 649.89 points.

Of the 164 listed securities traded today, 88 declined, 58 gained and 18 remained unchanged.

Some 3,556,163 shares and debentures valued at Tk 21.11 crore changed hands today as against 5,740,029 shares worth Tk 21.49 crore crore on the previous trading day.

Aftab Auto (557,500), Quasem Drycell (527,700), Sino Bangla (481,000) and Miracle Industry (240,500) were among the day’s volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 61.66 billion from Tk 61.68 billion on Thursday.
