Chittagong-- (UNB) - The main index at Chittagong Stock Exchange finished lower yesterday as the losers outnumbered the gainers. The CSE All Share Price Index lost 0.70 points or 0.04 percent to close at 1414.55 points from Tuesday's 1415.25 points. Of the listed 59 securities traded yesterday, 19 gained, 31 declined and nine remained unchanged. Some 742,795 shares and debentures valued at tk 3.53 crore changed hands as against 651,710 shares worth Tk 3.35 crore on the previous trading day. Fu Wang Food (232,500), National Credit Bank (222,000), Sinobangla Industries (144,000), Miracle Industries Ltd (68,000) and Beximco Pharma (51,650) were among the day's volume leaders. Market capitalisation remained unchanged at Tuesday's Tk 53.54 billion. |
