Chittagong (UNB) – Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange closed lower yesterday (Monday) due to lackluster trading.

The CSE All Share Price Index shed 8.52 points or 0.60 percent to close at 1410.43 points from 1418.95 points on Sunday.

Of the listed 64 securities traded yesterday, 12 gained, 48 declined and four remained unchanged.

Some 1,603,440 shares and debentures valued at Tk 4.49 crore were transacted as against 603,765 shares worth Tk 2.98 crore on the previous trading day.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 53.36 billion as against Tk 53.66 billion on Sunday.
