Dhaka-- (UNB)- The 111th auction of the 28-day, 91-day, 182-day, 364-day, 2-year and 5-year treasury bills were held here yesterday (Sunday).

Some Tk 1,703 crore, Tk 4 crore, Tk 4 crore, Tk 22 crore, Tk 9.9 crore and Tk 26.55 crore were offered respectively for the 28-day, 91-day, 182-day, 364-day, 2-year and 5-year bills.

Of these, Tk 1,573 crore, Tk 2 crore, Tk 22 crore, Tk 9.9 crore and Tk 1.55 crore in total of Tk 1608.45 crore of 28-day, 91-day, 364-day, 2-year and 5-year bills were accepted respectively.

The ranges of the implicit yields were 6.05-6.20 percent, 6.40 percent, 7.47-7.51 percent, 8.50 percent and 10.75 percent per annum respectively.

The bids offered for the 182-day bill were not accepted. Due to maturity of the bills, the total amount of Tk 1510 crore will retire in this week.

On that account, the net amount of the issuing bills will stand at Tk 98.45 during the week.
