Chittagong-- (UNB) – As the gainers dominated the losers, the main index at Chittagong Stock Exchange marked a rise yesterday (Saturday).

The CSE All Share Price Index gained 9.84 points or 0.71 per cent to close at 1388.42 points from Thursday’s 1378.58 points.

Of the 64 listed securities traded yesterday, 39 gained, 14 declined and 11 remained unchanged.

Some 756,111 shares and debentures worth Tk 4.29 crore were transacted as against 1,232,400 shares valued at Tk 4.57 crore on the previous trading day.

Beximco Pharma (185,000), AIMS First Guaranteed (172,500) and Chic Textile (65,000) were among the day’s volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 52.58 billion from Thursday’s Tk 52.24 billion.
