Dhaka (UNB) – Day’s trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange closed higher yesterday (Saturday) with gainers outnumbering the losers.

The DSE All Share Price Index rose by 1.15 per cent or 7.37 points to close at 643.86 points from Thursday’s 636.47 points.

Of the 151 listed securities traded yesterday, 99 gained, 34 declined and 18 remained unchanged.

Some 3,027,038 shares and debentures valued at Tk 20.17 crore changed hands as against 2,161,160 shares worth Tk 15.45 crore on the previous trading day.

Bionic Food (399,500), AIMS first Mutual Fund (383,500), Beximco Pharma (335,800) and Rangpur Foundry (252,500) were among the day’s volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 61.11 billion from Tk 60.41 billion from on Thursday.
