Bulletins Bulletin : Published
Date: Sunday, December 30, 2001
From: kumropotash
Subject:
Discrimination against women
Description:

bd_KonkaBoti, it seems that you have had some bitter experiences in your life which make you belief that all men think women are inferior to them. Whatever you have encountered in your life, I am sympathetic to you. But I will request you not to make any generalization. Just as religion, the traditional man-woman roles have been inculcated in our minds and it’s very difficult to get over them overnight! Have you ever thought why women (even women who are feminists) use so many cosmetic items when men use relatively nothing? At the beginning of human civilization, men used to hunt while women used to plough. But nowadays ploughing has become a male dominated work! Sometimes people wear masks without being aware that they are wearing masks! Just as men need to change their deep-seated beliefs in this regard to treat women at par with them, so do women! And being antagonistic won’t help either men or women!
