Subject:
Longest Sea Beach of the world
Description:

I am travelling to Cox's bazaar with my husband for the first time after my marriage.

I love that place. I would like to know about the places one should visit once in Cox's bazaar.

I will also appreciate if someone sends me information regarding the quality of the hotels in Cox's bazaar. Please let me know which place is the best for staying while in the longest sea beach on Earth.

Thank you.

Bye bye.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii,

I envy at your happiness. What a beautiful place indeed. While I was a university student I visited that heaven.

Miles of golden sands, towering cliffs, surfing waves, rare conch shells, colorful pagodas, Buddhist temples and tribes, delightful seafood- this is Cox's Bazaar, the tourist capital of Bangladesh. Having the world's longest unbroken (120KM). beach slopping gently down to the blue waters of the Bay of Bengal against the picturesque background of a chain of hill covered with deep green forests, Cox's Bazar is one of the most attractive tourist spots in the world. The beach is good for bathing, sun-bathing and swimming. The breathe-taking beauty of the sun-setting behind the waves of the sea is captivating. Attractive local variety of cigars and handloom products of the Rakhyne tribal families are good buys. Their unique custom and costumes attract visitors. Located at a distance of 152 km. south of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar is connected both by air and road from Dhaka and Chittagong. Visits to the fascinating picnic spot at Himchari, Teknaf, southernmost tip of Bangladesh, Buddhist temple at Ramu and nearby island of Sonadia, St. Martin and Moheskhali are memorable experience of one's lifetime.

So enjoy !!

Hi every body.
hi ferdaus.

It is the longest.

it is unspeakable.

I have been living out of our country for a few years now.
when i was growing up I allways wented to go Dinajpur, to see the Canchonjangha;Sylhet,to see the falls;Cuakata, to see the sun rise and set;Sunder bon, to see the.. everything;and cox's bazar.
But I did not get to travel a lot out of dhaka. when I was in FMC I got to do it.
I travel cox's bazar for second time then when we went to three day picnic. I got to see the Himchory--that I did not like--for first time.
Me and My room mate planed to go to ST. Martins island, but couldn't.
soon after that I got to go to the Sitachundo, the Chandranath hill with my girl friend.

Let me tell you Ferdaus, it is beautiful.
it is like you can see the whole World. One side has the hills in India covered with mist, other side-- the whole bay of bangla.
Unbeliveable!

Soon after that I had to leave the country without fulfilling my dreams about travelling. Even though I was enjoing the beauties in a different country i couldnot forgot about my dream, my country.

That is why I came back to bangladesh on DEC30th for Six month.I fulfill two dreams. I went to Sylhet. I went to Cox's bazar; four times.
not exactly Cox's bazar, but ST.MARTINS.

you know what? The most beautiful spot we have in the country is that.

My last trip to the island was on may 18th 2000. The waves were 25 feet in the bay. But it could not hold me back.
Belive me I want to die on that Island.
On the way I got to travel the Tecnaf Beach that I think much much much better than Cox's.
Probally because it was not so full with travellers.
I got to go to Dinajpur, too; but not to the border. Only to the city.
badluck.
I might do it next time when i am in bangladesh. I have to go to Cuakata too.

Any way.. Ferdaus,
our country is full of beauty.
we live out side of the country and miss the motherland so much , no body would know.

I will ask you to go to St.Martin this winter atleast for three days. the bay is not so bad in this season.
And if you can , touch the sky on the way when you cross Sitacundo.
on your way back see if you can stop by Cuakata for a night.
than go to Netrocona Border to see the SADA MATIR PAHAR and the river that seperates India and us. there is only a 'Hatu Pany' in the half mile river. Wonder full.
After that You can go either Sylhet or Dinajpur. It's up to you. Eighter way your next stop should be sunder bon.

Dont forgat to pack your bag for faceing every thing.
And ferdaus, Don't forget to take your Husband with you
