Dhaka-- (UNB) – A medical team from DePauw University of Indiana State of the USA yesterday called on Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Prof AK Azad Chowdhury at his office.

The visiting team comprising 27 students and faculty members will provide healthcare to the inmates of an orphanage at Charfashion in Bhola district for 13 days under their winter vacation programme.

During the call on, Prof Azad Chowdhury briefed the team about Dhaka University and Bangladesh while Prof Khondoker Rezaur Rahman delivered an orientation lecture.

The team lost four out of 27 boxes of medicines they brought from the USA at the Zia International Airport, programme coordinator of the visiting team alleged.
