Magura-- (UNB) – Construction works of eight community clinics have been completed in Shalikha upazila of the district at a cost of Tk 16 lakh.

Official sources said the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare allocated Tk 23.50 lakh to construct a total of 10 such clinics in different unions of the upazila.

Under the supervision of the Local Government Engineering Department, the project is expected to be completed by June next year, the sources added.

The government has undertaken the project throughout the country aiming at providing regular and better healthcare facilities to rural people.
