Dhaka--(UNB) – Dhaka City Corporation yesterday (Thursday) launched free ambulance service for city dwellers as part of its medicare services programme.

City Mayor Mohammad Hanif inaugurated the service at the Nagar Bhaban.

Five ambulances will be engaged in the service to transport patients between their houses and hospitals.

City dwellers will have to contact with the DCC control rooms (telephone no. 9556014 or 9004734) to avail the opportunity, said a press release.
