Dhaka-- (UNB) – President Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed yesterday (Monday) stressed the need for creating awareness of the preventive measures to control diabetes.

“Prevention and control of diabetes disease are related with overall medical system,” said the President in a message on the eve of the World Diabetes Day being observed today (Tuesday).

He recalled the contribution of Dr Mohammad Ibrahim in creating awareness among the people to control and prevent the disease.

President Shahabuddin wished success of the programmes of the day.
