Dhaka-- (UNB) – A high level meeting of Dhaka City Corporation yesterday directed the officials concerned to accelerate the mosquito control and garbage removal activities to curb mosquito menace.

Held at Nagar Bhaban with Mayor in-charge Habibur Rahman Mizan in the chair, the meeting reviewed DCC’s drive against mosquito menace and discussed some newspaper reports on this issue.

The acting mayor directed the officials to properly carry on the development works including mosquito control and garbage removal activities.

Among others, DCC Chief Executive Officer KM Nurul Huda, Secretary M Habibullah, and Ward Commissioners Kamal Chowdhury, Sadeq Khan and Humayun Kabir were present, said a press release.
