Dhaka (UNB) - Muktijoddha Sangsad posted 3-0 goals victory over Arambagh KS in the NBL Premier Division Football League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday (Monday).

After the day’s success, the freedom fighters’ team collected 14 points from five matches while Arambagh KS bagged seven points from same number of outings.

The winners took lead just before the lemon break whistle as Arambagh defender Rezaul Karim Biplob played a shot to his own net while trying to tackle a Asif header off a Farhad cross.

Asif doubled the margin in the 11th minute of the second half placing the ball from Rajani’s minus, missed by striker Farhad who maintained his lackluster performance in the league.

Just two minutes ahead of the long whistle, midfielder Liton played a perfect shot in danger zone beating opposition defender Biplob to seal the winners tally.
