Dhaka, (UNB) – Bangladesh booters face a real acid test when they take on giant Saudi Arabia in their second encounter of the World Cup qualifying round in Dammam
today (Saturday).
Thousands of expatriate Bangladeshis are expected to witness the match which will kick off at 11:30 pm (Bangladesh time) at the floodlit Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in the Saudi resort town.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh drew goal-less with Vietnam at the same venue on Thursday although the Southeast Asian country, ranked higher than Bangladesh, played better in the opening match.
However, Bangladesh goalkeeper Aminul Haq was adjudged player of the match, also witnessed by some 15,000 expatriate citizens.
Bangladesh will face Mongolia in the last match on February 12 at 9:30pm Bangladesh time.
