Dhaka-(UNB) – Bangladesh starts its campaign for the qualifying round of the World Cup Football today (Thursday) without having any knowledge about their opponents.

Bangladesh takes on Vietnam in the inaugural match at the grand Mohammed bin Fahad Stadium at 9:30pm (BST) while favourite Saudi Arabia faces Mongolia in another match at 11:30pm.

Bangladesh football team arrived at Dammam Monday night to play the four-team Asian Group-10 2002 World Cup Qualifying round matches.

Bangladesh will take on host Saudi Arabia on Feb 10 at 11.30pm and Mongolia on Feb 12 at 9.30pm in the first-leg matches. 

In the return-leg matches, Bangladesh will face Vietnam on February 15 at 9.30pm, Saudi Arabia on Feb 17 at 11.30pm and Mongolia on Feb 19 at 9.30pm (BST). 

Only the champions of the four-team fray will qualify for the Asian final round.
