Dhaka (UNB) - Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed Imran Sarwar as national team's coach for ensuing ICC Knockout Tournament in Kenya as well as South Africa tour.

The BCB had earlier named two coaches-- Imran Sarwar and Dipu Roy Chowdhury-- when they announced a 26-member preliminary selection.

This is for the second time Imran Sarwar, who led Abahani Limited successfully to lift the league title, is taking the coveted charge. Earlier, he was the national coach in the last Asia Cup Cricket.

Bangladesh national team is expected to leave here on Sept 24. They will play their first match of the ICC Knockout World Cup against England on October 5 and start their South Africa tour on 12th.
