Dhaka (UNB) – Bangladesh under-17 team, now in Pakistan to participate in the ACC cup cricket, defeated Asif Iqbal Academy by 124 runs in a warm up match in Karachi on Sunday. Batting first, the Bangladesh cubs made 195 runs losing eight wickets in the stipulated 40 overs with Shariful scoring 36, Nafees Iqbal 30, Kuntal 24, Shobij 23 and M Islam 20. Later they bundled out Asif Iqbal Academy in only 71 runs by 34 overs. Talha captured three wickets for 14 runs in 6 overs. Sharif took two wickets while Prosenjit and Monjurul one each. |
