COLOMBO (AP) - Former Sri Lankan captain Arjuna Ranatunga made cricketing history Thursday by becoming the only player to participate in his country's inaugural as well as the centenary test. 

   

But the 34-year-old batsman faced only 10 balls and was run out for six runs on the second day of the first cricket test against Pakistan. Overnight 115 for three, Sri Lanka coasted to 207 for seven at lunch in its first innings. The highlights of the pre-lunch session was Vice Captain Marvan Atapattu's 73 He resumed at his overnight score of 50 and added 23 runs. He hit nine boundaries for his 73 runs.
