Rain  also washed out the second-leg match between Bangladesh A and Namibia in the Trination Tournament on Tuesday at Killat Aman ground in Kuala Lumpur, according to a message received in Dhaka.

Bangladesh completed the double-leg matches with six points which included two victories against Malaysia. The first-leg match between the two countries was also spoiled by rain.

Bangladesh A will now meet Namibia in the final tomorrow at RSC ground. Namibia, who will play Malaysia in their last league phase match today, have  already confirmed their entry into the final collection four points. Namibia defeated Malaysia in their first-leg match .

If the final was abandoned due to rain then Namibia will be declared winners on the basis of having better net run rate.

Bangladesh  A team batted first and were restricted to 159 for six in 41 overs. Namibia faced an early debacle as they lost three top order batsmen for an addition of 40 runs off 13 overs. Then the rain came and forced the organizers to abandon the match.

Opener Mehrab Hossain Opee with 41 was the scorer for Bangladesh. Razin saleh, who led Bangladesh A to a thrilling one wicket win over Malaysia on Monday, followed Opee with 26, Skipper Naimur Rahman 19, Sajid Hasan 18, Mushfiq Babu 12 not out, and Mohammed Rafique 12 not out were the other four noted scorers.

Monjurul Islam, Bikash and Mushfiq Babu took one wicket each for Bangladesh A giving away 5,19 and 8 runs respectively.
