Dhaka—(Bangla2000) At the Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka Metropolis and Chittagong Division agreed to close the match at lunch with a draw on the last day of the four-day match yesterday.


Resuming with overnight score of 38 for 1, Dhaka Metropolis scored 177 runs for 4 wickets at lunch in their second innings before the two captains agreed to finish the play.


National captain Naimur Rahman Durjoy and Neeyamur Rashid Rahul remained notout on 15 and 8 runs respectively.


Halim Shah and Al Shahriar Rokon contributed 120 runs in the second wicket stand and the pair was broken when Test cap Rokon was bowled by Pakistani spinner Shahed Mehmood.


Right-handed stylish batsman Rokon made team highest 69 runs off 93 deliveries with nine boundaries and one over boundary.


Opener Halim Shah contributed 41 runs off 77 balls that featured five boundaries before giving a return catch to left-arm spinner Enamul Haq Moni.


Shahed Mehmood captured two wickets giving away 40 runs in 9 overs while Moni and Safiuddin Babu took one wicket each for 51 and 30 runs respectively.
