Dhaka-- (UNB) – Khulna Tigers and Rajshahi Padma won their respective matches in the Grameen Under-17 Cricket tournament that began yesterday (Wednesday) under the BCB Development Programme at different city venues.

At the Jagannath Hall ground, Khulna Tigers outplayed Dhaka Colts by nine wickets.

Dhaka Colts: 68 all out in 35.2 overs. Rajib 16, Hafiz 12, Nikkon 11, Mortuza 3/7, Murad 2/5 and Shafiul 2/21.

Khunla Tigers: 69 for one in 13.4 overs. Shafiul 28, Shahidur not out 20, Suhash 1/5.

At the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium, Rajshahi Padma beat Metropolis Green team by five wickets.

Metropolis Green: 200 for 8 in 45 overs. Javed 37, Sabuj not out 28, Riyad 26, Arafat 24, Rashed 2/36, Rashid 2/37.

Rajshahi Padma: 203 for 5 in 43.3 overs. Amee 72, Imroj 39, Riyad 1/33, Nazmul 1/37 and Sabuj 1/39.
