Dhaka--(UNB) - National Sports Council (NSC) has allotted Bangabandhu National Stadium for cricket from December 1 to April 30, 2001.

The Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM) decided yesterday (Saturday) that the Metropolis Premier Division and First Division Cricket League will begin January 28.

The four-day player-transfer (premier & first divisions) will begin from January 7 next year.

The transfer duration for first three days will be from 4pm to 7pm and the time will be extended by one hour on the last day on January 10.

The second division and third division leagues will start from January 20.

The CCDM has formed a five-member committee to guide Dhaka Metropolis team for National Cricket Championship to be started on Wednesday.

They named Abid Hossain as manager and Wahid Mahmud his deputy for the Dhaka Metropolis team.
