Dhaka-- (UNB) - Bangladesh Cricket Board arranged an eight-a-side mini cricket for the age group boys during lunch break of Bangladesh's inaugural test match against India on the fourth day at Bangabandhu National stadium yesterday (Monday).


Four juvenile teams - two of under-10 namely Rajanigandha and Bely and two of under-12 namely Shapla and Rose took part in two separate matches of their respective age groups.


Both matches were 6 over-a-side during the 30-minute break.


In the eastern side of Bangabandhu National Stadium, Rajanigandha beat Bely by 3 runs in the under 10 age group match.


Batting first, Rajanigandha scored 53 runs with Isti making 19 and Rinto 13.


In reply, Bely were all out for 50 with Faisal scoring 14, Imran 11 and Sabab 10 runs.


In the under 12 age group match at the western side of the stadium, Shapla won by 4 wickets against Rose.


Rose batted first to score 43 runs for all with Rafi making 20.


In reply, Shapla reached their target making 44 for the loss of 4 wickets with Rubel scoring 20 runs and Sony remaining not out on 11.


As part of the celebration of maiden test of Bangladesh, the BCB earlier arranged female cricket for four teams (eight-a-side) during the lunch break on Nov. 10 and for two seven-a-side teams of blind cricketers on Nov. 12.
