Bangladesh leaves Kenya for South Africa tonight

Dhaka (UNB) – Bangladesh national cricket team, which took part in the ICC knockout World Cup Cricket in Kenya, will leave Nairobi for South Africa on Sunday night.


During their two-week tour of South Africa, Bangladesh will play a four-day match against a local side and three one-day matches with South Africa A team.


Test babes Bangladesh will meet Griqualand West team in the lone four-day match from Oct. 12-15 at the Kimberlay.


They will play their first limited over day-night match on Oct. 18 in Bloemfortein, the second one-day match on Oct. 21 in Pietermaritzbrug and the third and last one-day match (day-night) in Durban on Oct. 23.


In their knock-out world cup engagement on Friday, Bangladesh lost to England by eight wickets and were eliminated from the tournament.
