Dhaka-- (UNB)- International Master Ziaur Rahman won his fourth and fifth round boards in the 12th Goodricke Open International Chess Tournament in Kolkata.


After two consecutive wins, Zia of Bangladesh Biman collected 3.5 points after fifth round while another Bangladeshi International Master Abdullah Al Rakib lost his fourth and fifth round boards and bagged 2.5 points.


Zia beat Indian Deep Sengupta in his 4th round game while Indian Argyhadip Dasin in the fifth round game.


Rakib lost to Grandmaster Maxim Sorokin in the 4th round game and another Grandmaster Igors Rausis of Latvia in the fifth round.
