Dhaka--(UNB) - A week-long open chess training for women, organised by Bangladesh Chess Federation, will begin from January 7 next at the Sultana Kamal Women Sports Complex.

The Federation will bear the cost of food and accommodation for women trainees who will come from districts outside Dhaka.

The interested participants have been requested to send their names by January 5 to the federation office.

The participants of the training camp will be allowed to take part in the qualifying round of the 22nd National Women Chess Championship, which will begin in the city from January 14.
