Chittagong (UNB) - Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange finished higher yesterday (Monday) with the gainers heavily dominated the losers.


The CSE All Share Price Index gained 4.28 points or 0.30 percent to close at 1411.73 points from Sunday's 1407.45 points.


Of the 61 listed securities traded yesterday, 37 gained, 18 declined and six remained unchanged.


Some 961,175 shares and debentures worth Tk 4.39 crore changed hands as against 746,385 shares valued at Tk 3.44 crore on the previous trading day.


Beximco Pharma (238,800), Fu-Wang Foods (235,000), AIMS First Guaranteed (165,000) and BD Welding Electrodes (65,500) were among the day's volume leaders.


Market capitalisation stood at Tk 53.38 billion from Tk 53.24 billion on Sunday.
