Chittagong, Sept 25 (UNB) – The main index at Chittagong Stock Exchange posted a gain of 13.01 points as the gainers dominated the losers. The CSE all price index rose by 13.01 points or 0.99 per cent to close at 1326.39 points from Sunday’s 1313.39 points. Of the 64 listed securities traded today, 17 declined, 44 gained and three remained unchanged. Some 1,154,030 shares and debenture valued at Tk 5.09 crore were transacted as against 601,929 shares worth Tk 3.83 crore on the previous day. Beximco Pharma (360,150), Sajib Knitwear and Garments (229,000), AIMS First Guaranteed (152,500) and Shinepukur (123,050) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 50.44 billion from Sunday’s Tk 50.00 billion. |
