Dhaka (UNB) – Finance Minister Shah AMS Kibria leaves here today (Friday) night to attend the annual meeting of World Bank-IMF beginning on Tuesday in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.

The Minister who will lead a six-member Bangladesh delegation at the three-day meeting is expected to return home on October 4.

Other members are Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr Mohammad Farashuddin, Secretary of Economic Relations DR AKM Mashiur Rahman, Secretary of Finance Division Dr Akber Ali Khan, Bangladesh Ambassador to Germany Kazi Anwarul Masud and Economic Counsellor Berlin Harun-or Rashid Bhuiyan.

Alternate Executive Director of Bangladesh in the World Bank Syed Ahmed will also attend the meeting.
