Dhaka (UNB) – Trading at Dhaka Stock Exchange finished lower yesterday marking a fall of 7.84 points in its benchmark. The DSE All Share Price Index declined 7.84 points or 1.25 percent to close at 614.79 points from Tuesday’s 622.63 points. Of the 174 listed securities traded yesterday, 114 declined, 50 advanced and 10 remained unchanged. Some 4,441,485 shares and debentures worth Tk 16.57 crore were transacted as against 2,987,219 shares valued at Tk 18.33 crore on the previous trading day. AIMS First Mutual Fund (1,665,000), Beximco Pharma (576,850), Miracle Industry (173,000), Fu Wang Food (166.000), Bionic Food (152,000), Chic Tex (118,500) and BD Welding (102,500) were among the volume leaders. Market capitalisation stood at Tk 58.35 billion from 59.09 billion on Tuesday. |
