Chittagong (UNB) – Trading at the Chittagong Stock Exchange finished higher yesterday (Saturday) marking a rise in its benchmark index.

The CSE All Share Price Index rose 21.59 points or 1.56 percent to close at 1403.44 points from Thursday’s 1381.84 points.

Of the 62 listed securities traded yesterday, 56 gained, three declined and three remained unchanged.

Some 1,541,015 shares and debentures valued at Tk 6.68 crore changed hands yesterday as against 521,240 shares worth Tk 2.71 crore on the previous trading day.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 53.10 billion from Tk 52.35 billion on Thursday.
